During the last month we have been told about e-mail letters allegedly sent by officials or military commanders, etc, prentending abusively to be from Western Sahara .

The letters are using the scheme of the so-called "Nigerian Letter Scam":
Individuals present themselves as officials from Western Sahara, Minister of the Democratic Republic of Western Sahara, governor or military commander "with POLISARIO".... Obviously they are NOT Saharawis and have nothing to do with Western Sahara.

They ask for help in placing large sums of money in overseas bank accounts and promise large sums of money if you cooperate. In fact they will plunder your bank account.

As a reference of their seriosity they mention this website, where they seem to have picked up the names they use.
