présentation du livre "La dernière colonie de l'Afrique, voyages aux Sahara Occidental" (en Néerlandais) à l' Institut Royal pour les Affaires Tropicales à Amsterdam, Pays-Bas, 20h30.

 Projection d'un film du cinéaste Néerlandais-Algérien Karim Traïdia sur les campements de réfugiés sahraouis, suivi d'un débat intitulé  "Sahara Occidental, le plus grand tabou du Maroc.

Participants:

• Ali Lmrabet: journaliste et rédacteur en chef, condamné en 2003 à trois années d'emprisonnement pour avoir dans ses journaux critiqué la politique marocaine au Sahara Occidental. En janvier il a bénéficié d'une libération anticipée.
• Paul de Waart:  Prof. Em. de droit International, spécialisé dans le Moyen-Orient
• Représenatant du Polisario: qui défend le point de vue des Sahraouis dans le conflit
• Nicolien Zuijdgeest, journaliste & auteure

Amsterdam 15 of April 2004

Presentation on April 15 of the book Africa's last colony, travelling through the Western Sahara (in Dutch) in the Royal Institute for Tropical Affairs in Amsterdam, the Netherlands at 20h 30.
It's a political travelbook from publishing house Bulaaq.

A documentary about the Sahrawi refugee camps in Algeria will be shown, made by the Dutch-Algerian filmmaker Karim Traïdia.
Following will be a debate about Morocco's biggest taboo, the Western Sahara.

Participants:

• Ali Lmrabet: Moroccan editor-in-chief who was convicted to three years imprisonment because of publishing critical articles about the Moroccon policy in the Western Sahara. In january he was released in advance.
• Paul de Waart: Em. Prof. International Law and specialized in cases from the Middle East
• Polisario: will comment on the Sahrawi standpoint in the conflict
• Journalist & author Nicolien Zuijdgeest
